Courses of Study


The college offers 25 courses of which 11 are Undergraduate , 7 Postgraduate, 1 Postgraduate Diploma and 6 Add-on-Courses . While Undergraduate courses are in sciences and humanities, the Postgraduate courses are in humanities and physical sciences, the Postgraduate Diploma is in Computer Applications, the Add-on-courses are in science as well as humanities streams. The college also offers a vocational subject - Advertising, Sales Promotion and Sales Management-covered under the UGC scheme of vocationalisation of education at the First Degree level.

  • These courses are offered under the UGC Scheme of introducing Career Oriented Programmes at First Degree Level. Any student doing B.A./B.Sc.I can simultaneously opt for any of these courses and is awarded Certificate, Diploma & Advanced Diploma in addition to degree on successfully completing the course in Ist year, 2nd year and 3rd year respectively. In the event of availability of seats, students of M.A.I, who opt to join, can also be given admission to any of these programmes.
